πŸ€“ There are about 10x more receptors in fascia than in muscle, which is why a foam roller might help you bridge the gap to get you moving again when dysregulated and stuck.

Using a foam roller is a supportive way to STIMULATE those receptors and temporarily shift your internal state.

πŸ‘‰ A good starting point would be to use it on areas that feel therapeutic and inviting, versus painful.

πŸ€“ The part to focus on is the WAY in which you coordinate the breath with core, especially for those prioritizing their pelvic floors.

🚨 Note: the pelvic floor is one of the foundational β€œwalls” of your core, so if you’re a human, then these tips apply to you too.

1. Too much intensity over time often leads to hormone disruption in women, poor performance, injuries / pain, compensatory weight gain strategies, fatigue, irritability, poor sleep, and dysbiosis in the gut. 

If you’re an intensity queen experiencing any of those things above, I urge you to commit to a month of this structure.

2. High intensity is a special thing because the experience is unique to YOUR body and fitness level, but also can be misunderstood. Some types of exercises may not feel intense but be very taxing on the body.

So this can be tricky. Im here to help if you need.
